Tenant Education and Landlord/Tenant Mediation

These services are offered during our Rental Rights Clinic on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and Thursday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. (see more details below) and through the Diversion program.

Driver’s Relicensing

This service is provided through the Center for Justice. If you do not qualify for the City Prosecutors Community Relicensing Program (509-835-5951), come see us for a consultation.

Vacating Criminal Records

Attorneys from the Center for Justice may be able to assist you in vacating your criminal records. Eligibility for this service is determined based on  the following: whether you qualify under state law, if it will make a significant difference in your ability to find and secure housing or employment and the resources we have available at the time of your request. It is helpful to have a copy of your Defendant Case History (DCH) with you when you come to see us. To get a free copy of your DCH, go to the Public Safety Building at 1100 West Mallon. Go to the cashier’s window and ask for a free copy of your Defendant Case History. You will need photo ID.

Legal Financial Obligations (LFOs) Education and Advocacy

Assistance includes help contacting the court to request that interest accrued on non-restitution LFO’s be waived and contacting the court to request they reduce the interest accrued on restitution. We can help you determine if your LFO’s will ever expire and help you come up with a realistic budgeting strategy that will allow you to pay back your LFO’s.

Re-entry Assistance

We can offer counseling and assessments for people recently released from the justice system. We offer supportive services from Peer Support Specialists who can help with all things related to re-entry.
