We know there are many challenges facing our community at this moment; health, income, child care, etc. Housing and the fear of eviction may be the most stressful.
UPDATE TO COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL TENANTS - APRIL 7, 2020:
The city of Spokane will temporarily ban all foreclosures and evictions of commercial tenants through April, adding to protections ordered by Gov. Jay Inslee last week. With swift support from the Spokane City Council, Mayor Nadine Woodward amended her week-old emergency declaration Monday to place a moratorium on foreclosures and evictions of residential and commercial tenants.

On March 18, 2020, Governor Jay Inslee signed a proclamation that will protect you from eviction if you as an individual or part of a family are unable to pay rent due to COVID-19.
The proclamation protects all statewide counties until April 17, 2020.
